The goal of this retreat is to introduce and equip clinicians and researchers across the translational spectrum with key competencies related to community engagement (CE) science. The retreat aims to elevate the significance and methods of CE research, and to provide an opportunity for participants to engage with national and local leaders in CE research.
OBJ 1: To increase participant knowledge of the principles of CE through key informant panel discussion and concurrent educational sessions by national and local CE research leaders
OBJ 2: To increase participant efficacy to conduct CE research through networking and identifying resources to support future application of CE research in the participants' respective fields
