Rodent Genetic Resources Database Input

MUSC investigators who use rodent genetic resources may benefit from knowing about other rodent lines available on campus, allowing new experimental approaches or facilitating collaborations. Completing the survey below for your rodent lines will facilitate making this information available in a database form.

This is the name of the gene that is mutated, the name of the gene product that is expressed from transgenes or after recombination, or the name of the unique strain. For knock-in of a variant allele into a gene, enter the gene and allele name (e.g., Kras G12D). For Cre lines, simply enter Cre, Cre-ER (if tamoxifen-regulated), etc. For reporter alleles, simply enter GFP, tdTomato, etc. In cases where multiple genes are involved or the genes are not known, enter NA and provide other information below.
