Depending upon the specifics or circumstances of the proposed MTA (e.g. MUSC intellectual property items, export control issues, human tissue and/or sensitive data involved) the MTA review and approval processing times will vary. The more complex MTA scenarios will require more coordination among different MUSC offices (MUSC FRD, MUSC Legal Counsel, MUSC IRB and MUSC ORSP) and processing may be dependent on response time of the other party if changes are needed to the MTA. Please anticipate and plan for more protracted processing times when applicable.
