Education Innovation Advocate program

The Education Innovation Advocate program is a grassroots / bottom-up / colleague-to-colleague pilot initiative encouraging faculty to “think big” and re-imagine the learning experience and create a culture of innovation within the classroom (face to face or online). One faculty member from each college and Academic Affairs, selected via an application process and approved by their respective dean/chair, will fill a 1-year role, with the potential to renew for up to three years, in support of education innovation. Faculty will receive sponsorship to attend a conference/workshop inspiring them on innovative pedagogy in higher education and $3,000 incentive pay pending completion of goals established at the beginning of the program and approved by the Education Innovation Committee (EIC).
