Please contact Lori Ann Ueberroth at ueberro@musc.edu or Jonathan Flume at 843-792-3926 prior to submitting the request form in order to review potential required coordinator effort.

Please understand that in order to sustain the Biorepository long-term and provide valuable data and specimens to as many investigators as possible, there may be fees charged for many of our services. The feasibility and estimated cost will be provided to you after initial review of your request. These fees help recover a portion of the costs incurred in operating the Biorepository (including study coordinator and lab tech salaries, participant remuneration, phlebotomy fees, specimen processing and storage fees, freezer maintenance, etc.)

Please note: Any written or electronic instruments including but not limited to press releases, publications, posters, web content and/or promotional materials that result from the use of these samples must include the following acknowledgement "This publication [or project] was supported by the South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research (SCTR) Institute, with an academic home at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), through NIH Grant Number UL1 TR000062 and by the Core Center for Clinical Research, Improving Minority Health in Rheumatic Diseases (CCCR) at MUSC through NIH Grant Number P30 AR072582-01."
