Join the Medical University of South Carlona (MUSC) community as we commemorate World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2013. There will be a screening of the documentary, "Hidden Pictures: A Personal Journey into Global Mental Health," and faculty guided panel discussion to immediately follow.
This event will be held in the Drug Discovery building auditorium (#334), and is free and open to the public.
World Mental Health Day was established and is celebrated by the World Federation of Mental Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) to increase awareness of mental health conditions, stigma and access to care across the globe.
MUSC is promoting this initiative to bring attention to mental health issues and begin a constructive dialogue in our own communities.
